Why this was made
The goal is simple: help people open the Word, follow the passage, and come back without fighting the page. Bionic emphasis is one way to give the eye stronger starting points while keeping the Scripture text itself unchanged.
About
Bionic Bible was made because the Bible deserves a focused reading surface, and there did not seem to be much being done with bionic reading for Scripture.
The goal is simple: help people open the Word, follow the passage, and come back without fighting the page. Bionic emphasis is one way to give the eye stronger starting points while keeping the Scripture text itself unchanged.
Bionic Bible is not trying to turn Bible reading into a dashboard. It is meant to be a calmer reader for people who want stronger visual anchors, saved place, bookmarks, and fewer distractions.
Some people may find it while looking for ADHD-friendly or dyslexia-aware Bible tools. We use those words carefully because the goal is not to diagnose or treat anything; the goal is to make Scripture easier to enter, follow, and return to.
Možina, Kovačević, and Blaznik found shorter average fixation times for bionic-format text in part of their 2025 eye-tracking analysis.
Beelders' 2025 review of eye movements notes prior work where bionic font increased motivation and self-efficacy for students with learning disabilities.
The same review says bionic reading remains an intriguing area for readers who struggle, especially if studied over longer use.
Feedback, accessibility notes, translation requests, church use questions, and ideas for making Scripture easier to return to are welcome.
